Hi there! I just discovered this community and I'm so excited! I love re-told and re-imagined fairy tales.

In fact, I recently finished reading the Princess Novels by Jim C. Hines. There are currently three available and the fourth is due out this summer.

I went to see Ponyo today, and as always with Hayao Mayazaki's movies, I came away impressed and inspired and delighted. Especially because of the nice parallel's with The Little Mermaid.

A week ago, I received in at the library a book called A Fairy Tale Christmas: Creating Magical Celebrations. It's about the interiors done at Lyndhurst Mansion in New York, a Gothic Revival mansion.
